Kazakh Yurt

We recently returned from a trip to NorthWest China so I thought this desktop image was most appropriate for this posting. This was a Kazakh yurt that we ran into on a hike deep in the Tian Shan mountains of Xinjiang.

Crab On The Beach

Kashgar Grapes

Some say that grapes have been grown in Kashgar for over 2,000 years. With fresh water from the Tian Shan mountains these grapes smother the countryside of many areas in Xinjiang, China making local tours in June a "must see". This shot was taken in June 2007 at a home in Kashgar. It makes a beautiful background on your desktop and provides a bit of relaxing atmosphere, much like you were sitting in the middle of a Xinjiang vineyard.

Thai Bamboo

This shot was taken in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It adds beautiful shades of green to your desktop. Remember: My pictures are unique because they are original snap shots and are never digitally edited!
